Monday in a bar...

So, I spent the evening from 8 PM to 12:30 AM working at the bar and chatting with Dan every now and then.

Suitor #1 – Justin
Sanna and I met him a couple weeks ago while we were playing trivia. He was a trivia genius and helped us with all the answers. So, I said hi to him when he walked in. Later he ended up coming by and asked me what I was doing and what I did for a living and all that. We had a nice conversation. He left for the restroom and Dan told me that the guy liked me. I told Dan that the guy was too short for me. :P Justin ended up leaving, but then came back in, asked Dan for a pen and paper and then came and said “Well, I realized that I can not call you to take you out for dinner or something if I don’t have your number.” (pretty good line) I responded… “Sorry, I am kind of seeing someone right now, but thanks.” He said he was sorry and I said I was sorry saying that I should have been more upfront about it. He left.
About 20 mins later…
Suitor #2 – Name forgotten (we will call him James because we all know how I like those who’s names start with J’s)
So, he comes up to me in my little corner of the bar and asks for a number, any ten digits will work but that he has a list of things that he needs to complete before he moves back to Colorado. I tell him that I will give him a number but that he can’t use it because I am kind of seeing someone. LOL. (Not my type). He says okay, I give him my number and he walks away. He then comes back and offers to buy me a drink (Not drinking while working), so I let him get me a soda and we call it good.

Dan found all of this rather entertaining and said that he isn’t the jealous time. He said it was great if they bought me drinks because then he wouldn’t have to. LOL.

So…moral of the story…if you want to get hit on in a bar, go in there with your laptop and work in the corner and they will come. :P
